Farmers Market Incubator Booth

Empowering emerging farmers of color and local food justice

A joint initiative by AIM (Agricultural Institute of Marin) KTA (Kitchen Table Advisors), and ALBA (Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association) to promote local food justice and support beginning farmers of color.

We are so thrilled and honored to have these 2023-2024 farmers:

  • Coyo Organico Farm

  • Induchucuiti Organic Farms

  • Imperial Crops

  • Vasquez Organic Farms

  • Royally Grown Organic Farms

  • Salazar Organic Farms

  • The Queen of Vegetables Organic Farm

  • Mixteco Produce Organic Farm

  • Ayoquezco Organic Produce

What Is It?

A program offering free booth space at Clement Street, Hayward, & Grand Lake Farmers Markets for new farmers just getting started as business owners. Participants get marketing aid, supplies, and business mentorship.

Who Participates?

Three groups of 2-3 farms rotate booths at the Farmers Markets.

How Long?

Each group stays at a market for 4 months before switching locations.

Farmers decide whether to sell produce simultaneously or rotate weekly appearances.

The End Goal

After a year, farmers can join AIM’s markets, making way for a new group of farmers in the Incubator Booths.
