Farmers Market Ambassador Program
AIM is excited to announce a new program to create deeper connections between our farmers markets and the communities where they're located! Farmers Market Ambassadors will provide an important bridge between the Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM) and the communities served by our Farmers Markets. Farmers Market Ambassadors will share information and enthusiasm about their market with their communities to increase awareness and attendance of markets, while keeping Market Managers at AIM informed of the unique needs of the community they serve.
How It Works
Farmers Market Ambassador General Activities:
Attend the Farmers Market in person at least twice per month
When at market, connect with customers and market participants both formally and informally
Contribute to community outreach through word of mouth, phone calls, sharing flyers, providing community newsletter updates, or using any other ways that your community shares information
Share community feedback with AIM staff so improvements can be made.
Preferred Candidates:
Active in the community
Participates in community groups
Enjoys sharing new experiences with others

We are looking for at least a one-year commitment, open to longer. Stipend of $300 for your time.
