For 35 years, AIM has been passionately educating the public about the health, environmental, and economic benefits of buying locally grown food directly from farmers, while connecting and supporting communities and local and regional food systems so the public can access healthy and sustainably-grown food.

MEET OUR MARKET PARTICIPANTS
AIM manages and oversees seven year-round Certified Farmers Markets and supports regional sustainable producers by providing them with direct access to eaters across three Bay Area Counties in Alameda, Marin and San Francisco. Get to know the people who grow your food.
FARM-BASED EDUCATION
AIM believes the success of the small family farms depend on eaters who understand the value and joys of local agriculture. CENTER FOR FOOD AND AG
AIM is creating a world-class community gathering place dedicated to celebrating and educating about local, regional food and farms! This landmark will include infrastructure improvements to our Marin Farmers Market and will feature experiential learning spaces.
The Rollin’ Root is a food truck stocked with seasonal fruits, vegetables, and dairy products from the farmers market. AIM’s goal is to ensure that all members of our community have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, regardless of transportation or economic barriers.
