Imagine the most visionary farmers market in the world – a landmark dedicated to food, farming, and families in Marin. A market place covered by a permanent market canopy, a public market hall with all amenities needed to ensure the Marin Farmers Market, our farmers and its community will continue to thrive.
AIM currently manages seven Certified Farmers Markets in the Bay Area and represents over 300 family farms, specialty food purveyors, and artisans. We are committed to quality over quantity when it comes to farmers markets and are working diligently to build the most productive markets for our participating members that best reflect the communities they serve.
AIM believes the success of the small family farm depends on eaters who understand the value and joys of local agriculture. AIM’s market-based educational programs engage thousands of children and adults each year. Sign up here for one or all three of our programs including: Diggin’ the Market Tours at the Farmers Market, Diggin’ in the Classroom and Farm Field Studies.
“the closer we are to the source of our food, the more control we have over what is in our food and how it is grown.”
