We Reached our Stretch Goal

We’re thrilled to announce that our annual campaign reached its stretch goal! 

On December 31st, our campaign concluded having raised $55,600. This is above and beyond our original goal, and we’re so thankful to you. 

(And as promised, market shoppers got a good laugh when Andy (AIM’s CEO) dressed up as a bunch of grapes at the market in celebration of meeting the goal. Click here for the evidence)  

Thank you so much for making this campaign possible – by making a gift, by sharing with friends, sending us messages, and as always, by shopping the market. Each gift, of every amount, is incredibly meaningful to us and important for AIM programs.    

Your contributions have an important impact. We’ll be starting off the first quarter of 2021 strong:  

  • 250 free Bounty Boxes will be delivered per week to families facing food insecurity in Marin.  

  • The Rollin’ Root mobile food truck will be visiting 11 sites per week. 

  • We’ll be creating as much space as possible in our markets for new and returning farmers, fishers, ranchers, and artisans - to bring you the best of our local foods and art, and to keep dollars flowing locally.  

  • Farmers markets will be kept open and following Covid safety protocols, rain or shine!  

The flood of generosity during this campaign has been humbling and deeply moving. It speaks to the strength of our collective commitment to local food, thriving farms, and community food access. We're inspired and excited to keep building toward healthy local and regional food systems that fully nourish the earth and each other.
