Who is KM Mushrooms?
Founded in 2023, KM Mushrooms is a rapidly growing gourmet mushroom farm based in Santa Rosa. We’re incredibly passionate about the health benefits of gourmet and functional mushrooms and have built a solid community of regular customers across San Francisco and Marin counties.
We are currently looking for new additions to the KM team to help us build community and sell mushrooms on Sunday mornings in San Francisco and Saturday mornings in Point Reyes and Larkspur.
We need your help:
Sundays in the Inner Richmond district, from 11am-2:30pm
Sundays at Stonestown, from 8:30am-1pm
Saturdays in Larkspur, from 8:30am-2:30pm
Saturdays in Point Reyes, from 8:30pm-2:30pm
Compensation is 20/hour & fresh mushrooms to take home or trade with other vendors.
About the gig:
Helping unload and load van and set up and breakdown booth (canopy, tables, signs, etc)
Weigh out and display mushrooms for sale
Educate customers about different gourmet mushrooms and offer recipe inspiration (we’ll train you on this!)
Transact sales with Square and cash
About you:
Be passionate about building community and local food systems, with a strong interest in gourmet mushrooms
Friendly and upbeat, enjoy working with and helping people from all walks of life
Be reliably able to work early mornings
Experience working in the service industry is preferred, farmer’s market experience a bonus!
Comfortable multitasking and managing a line of inquisitive customers
