AIM invites you to join us for a farmers market-to-table experience, featuring local chefs and their seasonally inspired dishes.
STARTING THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7th AT THE MARIN CIVIC CENTER FARMERS MARKET, 9am – 12pm
In honor of 35 years of the Agricultural Institute of Marin, we’re excited to launch Chef’s Corner, which brings Bay Area chefs to the Marin Farmers Markets to offer free cooking demos. Almost every week, a rotating cast of chefs will create a meal celebrating California’s bounty. See first-hand classic culinary techniques, ask questions, taste their creations, learn about cooking seasonally and sustainably. Our goal is to build a community around healthy, seasonal food through demonstrations using local ingredients purchased that morning from the farmers market. To begin, AIM is excited to welcome the Cavallo Point Cooking School for several weeks to enchant farmers market shoppers and eaters with their culinary techniques. Over time, AIM will be expanding this program to our San Francisco and East Bay markets.
