Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Sanchez graduated from Fresno State with a B.S. in Agriculture and in 1989 bought a 6-acre orchard with his wife, Casamira. By 1993, Nacho had acquired over 150 acres and was farming for a living. Nacho and Casamira feel good knowing that both workers and customers can enjoy their fruit without worrying about pesticides; as well any fruit the Sanchezes do not sell is incorporated back into their soil. Two fun facts about the family: in 1991 twin girls (Christyna and Serena) were born to the Sanchezes, hence the farm name; and some of their peaches are names after their third daughter, Savannah.
