Upper Crust founders Mo and Trudy Kalisky brought the delicous breads of New York City with them when they moved to Northern California in 1970. After numerous dinner parties and barbecques in which they received gratitude for their freshly baked breads, the couple decided it was time to start the business. They went public in 1986 and have been delighting their die-hard fanbase wtih everything from breads and cookies to tarts and pies ever since. Today you can find Upper Crust Baking Co. in many Northern California farmers markets.
