Sunnyside Organic Seedlings was founded in 2004 by Vernay ‘Pilar’ Reber, a graduate of the UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems program. She and the rest of the Sunnyside crew are thrilled to be growing organic starts in the San Francisco Bay Area Ð a place where organic gardening is not only accepted, it is expected! Everything the crew at Sunnyside Organic Seedlings does is focused on providing quality certified organic plants that are produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Their motto is “Be your own farmer!” and they help customers realize this by providing ‘starts’ to start their own garden.
