She has received extensive training through an apprenticeship program with Alfredo Urso, PhD. Raw paleo is a term she uses to describe her omnivore diet of eating RAW but not vegan. She enjoys all types of raw foods including raw dairy and raw meat. Melissa is an advocate of raw dairy, local farms, sustainable agriculture and the organic movement, she is dedicated to helping others achieve optimal health.
