Spencer and Helene Marshall have been producing the finest honey from the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California since 1993. MarshallÕs Farm runs between 300 & 600 beehives in nearly 100 locations in and around the Bay Area. . The most recent location is on a rooftop garden adjacent to California Street at the Fairmont Hotel.
The business has grown to be recognized as an outstanding producer and supplier of high quality artisanal honeys. MarshallÕs Farm Honey is 100 percent pure, natural, raw, unfiltered, uncooked and ÒunprocessedÓ. Everything is done by hand except for the use of an electric extractor and uncapper. If you look closely, you can see natural pollen particles floating in the honey. The Honey is certified Kosher. Honey will last forever and needs no refrigeration.
MarshallÕs Honeys are used at restaurants owned by nationally acclaimed chefs such as Thomas Keller of The French Laundry, Alice Waters of Chez Panisse. The Honey can be found at about 50 Whole Foods & other upscale grocery and specialty stores or they currently attend 15 farmers markets weekly.
