Jane grew up in San Francisco and attended the SF Art Institute. After living in the woods in Fairfax, CA raising her two children, she moved to San Rafael, CA, in the marsh under the geese flyway. For the last 7 years she has taken her trailer “Airstream Named Desire” around the West gathering inspiration.
Her paintings have been described as “Maxfield Parrish meets the Hobbit while traveling with a camper in the Pirates of the Caribbean”. All of her images come from her imagination, however they are all based on places and things she has seen.
