Edmund and Kathleen WeberÊcreatedÊDella FattoriaÊin 1996 with the building of their first wood-burning oven outside the kitchen door of the family ranch in Petaluma. What began as a hobby for Kathleen blossomed over the next several years into a thriving artisanal bread business. Many more ovens were added and the number of loaves baked each day reached 1000. Soon their son, Aaron, and daughter, Elisa, joined the family business. Pastries were added as well as a Cafe’ in downtown Petaluma.
