Double Your Donation – Support AIM

The farmers market creates community and serves the public in responsible and delicious ways.

This year, AIM has continued to grow the quality of our farmers market programs, renewing our commitment to bring fresh and responsibly produced ingredients to people across the Bay Area.

Through AIM’s Farm Audit program, we ensure that all farmers are selling what they grow. Plus, in honor of AIM’s 35-year anniversary, we launched Chef’s Corner where instructors from the Cooking School at Cavallo Point and NextGenChef showcase healthy and seasonal recipes to enhance the market experience.

Together, we are not just collectively imagining but we are creating a vision of a thriving, local and regional food system. And, in the process, our communities are building strong relationships with producers, neighbors, and each other!

“My favorite part of AIM Farmers Markets is the community. I love filling my fridge with fresh food from the market each week, supporting local ranchers, saying hello and talking to people eye-to-eye. It’s great to build relationships and see the people who congregate there!”

As this year comes to a close, your gift to AIM will make you a part of our growing community of generous supporters, donors, and volunteers helping to create lasting change!

We aim to raise $5000 during this 2018 End-of-the-Year Giving Campaign, which will enable AIM to teach more youth about local farms and farmers markets, connect more older adults with fresh produce, and improve our farmers markets to reach more eaters.

Your year-end donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $2,500, thanks to the generosity of a dedicated supporter of AIM’s mission, who wishes to remain anonymous.

For every dollar you give in the next two weeks, your gift will be doubled!

We thank you for your continued support!

“I grew up going to the San Rafael farmers market, and, now that we have a four year old, it felt really important to create our own food traditions. Almost every Sunday, we take the wagon and go to the farmers market…It’s been pretty cool to create that ritual for her and watch her develop a sense of seasonality. It’s a magical part of the week!”
