City of Redwood City
Chris Dacumus is a Management Analyst II at the City of Redwood City, where he provides administrative and technical assistance in the development, administration, and implementation of City programs for Community Development and the Assistant City Manager. He has expertise in analysis of city policies, finance, and project management. Chris also works on the weekends with a variety of farmers and ranchers; he currently is retail staff at the Stemple Creek Ranch at the AIM’s San Rafael Farmers Market and All Star Organics at CUESA’s Ferry Building market. In addition, Chris has previously worked for Prather Ranch Meat Company, Capay Organic, Paradise Valley Produce, and Fly Girl Farms in a variety of roles on and off the farm. Chris is excited to bring to AIM’s Board of Directors his experience in community development and capital project management, including developing requests for proposals and project schedules for the design of the permanent Marin Farmers Market. Chris is also passionate about issues affecting communities of color, and he has been involved with a variety of service leadership projects focused on empowering Polynesian youth, and broader Asian and Asian American communities. Chris earned his BA in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and his Masters of Public Policy from Princeton University.
